I have created this "Studio Basics CD" for those of you just getting started and want to learn the basics for Studio Portrait Photography. This is a recorded live CD, showing and explaining to you about the basic light settings, light positioning and also some basic poses so you will get that great looking photo. I will show you what to look for when posing your subject in order to get their best look for that great photo in one or two shots. You can try it on your own or you can take advantage of my years of experience and let me show you what you will need to know for setting up your studio. Do you remember just how much money either you or your friends have spent on lens or other equipment to find that it was not the one that you should have bought in the beginning? This CD will help you to understand everything you will need to know for starting your portrait studio.
 
This is the information you will need to get started, but once you understand and learn the basics for lighting and posing you can venture out with other types of studio photography.
 
If you check out some of the photos on my site you will see that I have used more advanced lighting techniques on a lot of them but keep in mind that the basics are needed first. Go to Galleries - Business Cards - VIP and you will see that most of these photos were tahen using the basic lighting and posing methods that I am sharing with you today on this CD.
 
After you fully understand the basics it will be easier to understand and try the more advanced lighting techniques. You can not run before you learn how to walk.
